Monique Street is a Relationship Manager at AAFMAA Wealth Management & Trust LLC (AWM&T), where she combines her experience as an active-duty Army spouse with her financial counseling background to help military families achieve their financial goals and plan for a secure future.

Monique came to AWM&T after serving as Blue Star Families' JPMorgan Chase DEPLOY Financial Wellness Fellow, where she promoted financial well-being for military and Veteran families through research and policy advocacy. Monique's commitment to financial wellness began in 2015 while volunteering with the Army Financial Readiness Program. Since then, she has earned the Accredited Financial Counselor® designation and has supported military families at Fort Campbell and the Presidio of Monterey as a DOD-contracted financial counselor. Additionally, she has also provided retirement and investment coaching to government and private sector employees through an employer-sponsored financial wellness program. 

Monique holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Alabama A&M University and a master's degree in family Financial Planning and Counseling from The University of Alabama. She is a candidate for the Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) designation and is preparing to sit for the exam. She resides in Maryland with her husband, MAJ Terence Street, their two children, and their fur baby.
