Parker King, CFA, is a Quantitative Research and Risk Management Strategist at AAFMAA Wealth Management & Trust LLC (AWM&T). He has 30 years of industry experience including roles in trading, quantitative research, and portfolio management.

Before joining AWM&T, Parker was Chief Investment Officer of Putnam Investments’ Currency Investment Unit where he managed stand-alone currency funds as well as active currency management on global equity and global bond funds. Financial Times Business recognized Parker’s team as Currency Manager of the Year in 2008 and 2009. Prior to Putnam Investments, Parker worked at Analytic TSA Global Asset Management where he was a Portfolio Manager in the global asset allocation group. Additionally, Parker served in the US Army with tours in the 2nd Infantry Division and 75th Ranger Regiment. He earned an MBA from the Duke University Fuqua School of Business and a BS in Mathematics from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
