Jackie Baker is the Marketing Director for AAFMAA Wealth Management & Trust LLC (AWM&T). In her role, she oversees the marketing and content strategy for AWM&T, which includes crafting and managing copy for the website, blog posts, newsletters, advertisements, emails, webinars, social media, and more. Jackie works closely with the Relationship Management team, and coordinates regularly with Armed Forces Mutual on company-wide messaging initiatives.
Before joining the Growth Team, Jackie was an active-duty Army spouse for 7.5 years. During that time, she became a freelance writer, content creator, and media personality, whose messaging focused on the military community. Additionally, Jackie has overseen public relations, communications, and social media for museums, galleries, universities, and military spouse- and Veteran-owned businesses.
Career highlights include serving on the board of the AUSV Veterans Awards, acting as the emcee of Vet Fest, and going on air as a volunteer radio co-host with the Armed Forces Network (AFN) in Wiesbaden, Germany.
Jackie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Humanities from Florida State University, a Graduate Museum Studies Certificate from the University of Cincinnati, and a Master of Nonprofit Management from the University of Central Florida.
